In Lisbon, 1973, Maria Raquel was 22 years old and pursuing her studies at the Faculty of Letters. She was a privileged individual who had never experienced the misery of the dictatorship. She lived in Lumiar with her family, in a traditional, and Catholic environment. However, her world was turned upside down when she met Francisca, an older student from the same faculty who was actively involved in feminist and political activism groups. This encounter fascinated Maria Raquel and led her to question the foundations of her education.
