"Brietta, there's something I need to get off my chest." Jonathan states his eyes on my face, he was nervous, I just couldn't tell why, there was no reason for him to be nervous around me.

"Is something bothering you?" I ask him in concern, "Look...I just think I need to tell you this, before that monster gets here, and things do take a turn for the worst." He kept on babbling, not getting to the point.

"Jonathan just spit it out." I told him, taking his hand, to wrap it.

"Brietta Brenner, I'm in love with you." Jonathan says, I stare up at him, his face was really close to mine, his eyes said it all, he meant every word, his emotions, where also telling me he was telling the truth, he was starting to get anxious, the longer I stayed quiet.

I leaned forward, my lips touching his lips, they were soft against mine, feeling him kiss back, made me smile into our kiss, pulling away he had the biggest smile on his face, lightning up his eyes.

"Jonathan Byers, I'm in love with you too." I whisper with a soft smile.

"Look, we're running out of time here and if you don't let go now to grab my hand, we're both going down," he pressed, eyes flickering between yours. "And I don't know about you, but I'd really prefer to stay alive tonight. So for both our sakes, you're going to have to take a leap of faith here." "Okay," you finally said, your voice soft, almost a whisper. He widened his eyes, quickly nodding to show you it was alright, that he'd catch you. "On three?" he asked, not wanting to rush you but knowing he had to if you both were going to make it out alive. You gave him a single nod. He hadn't even made it to two before you let go, firmly grabbing his elbow. Your clammy hands nearly slipped, causing you to yelp, but he quickly seized your hand, his fingers slotting through yours with a secure grip. With a strong pull, he lifted you up, the momentum sending you crashing onto him on the cement, safely away from the edge. The wall cracked and crumbled, falling along with the vine into the boiling liquid below. His arms encircled you, holding you firmly against his chest. "I got you," he murmured, letting his head rest against the hard ground as he looked up at the sky, his hands gently cradling your head. Your face nestled into the crook of his neck as you tried to steady your breathing. "I got you." // You've always lived for the dramatics, always patiently waiting for something, anything to change your life. After the earthquake that nearly tore Hawkins apart, you selfishly thought your moment had finally arrived. You didn't believe in coincidences. Hawkins didn't get earthquakes, and for one to just happen at such a huge magnitude was extremely bizarre. Something more had to be at play, and you were determined to uncover it. You didn't anticipate, however, just how much it would impact your life, or that it would all stem from meeting a certain group of people. *This is a Stranger Things Fiction *Steve Harrington x Female Reader

Steve Harrington and Olivia Henderson have been the best of friends since they could remember. It was a coincidence, really. They got put in the same first grade class. As time went on, they were practically joined at the hip!.. until they turned 12, and Olivia started babysitting her little brother, Dustin, and his best friends, Mike Wheeler, Will Byers and Lucas Sinclair. A crush on Steve developed for Olivia when they entered the 7th Grade at Hawkins Middle School. Olivia changed a little in high school. Her clothing got a little darker; black shirts and black Chuck Taylor's. She still wore her denim; she couldn't shy away from it, but she added more than just blue denim jeans. Skirts and shorts were added to her wardrobe. Steve became popular in High School and was dubbed the King of Hawkins High after the previous King graduated. Steve felt he had to live up to the expectations of being King, but that didn't really stop Olivia from hanging out with him when he wasn't around Tommy H. and Carol. Things started to change when he became attracted to Nancy Wheeler, Mike's older sister. He started ditched Olivia more for Nancy, and she understood, but didn't like it. The night Will Byers went missing, it put a few things into perspective for Olivia, like her protectiveness for Dustin grew, as well as her friendship with Will's older brother, Jonathan. Dustin, of course, dragged his sister into the craziness of Eleven, a mysterious girl with superpowers that showed up out of nowhere. Will Olivia eventually tell Steve about her feelings for him during their Upside Down adventures, or will she continue to keep it a secret?

"Shit..." Shelley grumbled under her breath when her feet hit her wooden floor a bit too harshly, causing a rather loud bang to echo around the room. Shelley held her breath, freezing on the spot as she waited for anyone to have a reaction. Maybe Will would wake up and come up to her bedroom, rubbing his eyes and asking what the hell she was doing up. Maybe it would be Jonathan instead, coming to check on her, only to roll his eyes and understand exactly what she was doing out of bed this late as soon as he caught sight of her boots in her hands. Maybe it would've been her mom instead, barging into the room with wide eyes and a worried tone as she fussed over her daughter to make sure she was okay and probably mistaking the hickey in her neck with a wound of some kind. But, instead, no one came and, as much as Shelley found it weird, she knew it was already three in the morning, so everyone was probably asleep. Which, by the way, she should be too. So, instead of worrying, Shelley decided to just drop her boots by the bed and change from the rather pretty dress she had decided to surprise Steve in into some of his old clothes she still had laying around before climbing into the bed and tucking herself in. After all, considering she had a Chemistry test tomorrow - or rather, later today -, it would be better for her to get as much sleep as she possibly could. "Sometimes memories are the worst forms of torture." - "Well, if it's not frostbite, then what is it?" "It's disgusting is what it is, Carol," Gwen scrunches up her face. "Yeah, seriously. Listen to Pengwen and get it off the table. We're eating here," Steve says with a mouthful of pudding. Gwen looks at Steve with furrowed brows. "Penguin?" Steve pauses with his spoon mid air and looks at the girl. "Yeah. Pengwen," He drops the spoon and lifts his left hand. "Penguin," Then he lifts his right hand. "Gwen," He slaps his hands together. "Pengwen," He smiles. "I kind of hate it," She smiles. Steve shrugs. "Well, I could switch it out with 'Gwenny', 'Wendy'..." Gwen stops him, holding her hands up with wide eyes. "Okay, stop," Steve puts his index finger in the air like he's just had a revolutionary idea. "Oooh, how about 'Gwenola'?" He raises his eye brows for emphasis. "'Pengwen'. 'Pengwen' is fine," Gwen chuckles. Steve smiles. "Good to know!" - Gwen Henderson was given another chance at life when she was 13 years old. Adopted by Claudia Henderson, she was finally able to be a somewhat normal teenager. She had a loving family, an annoyingly adorable little brother, and a fresh reputation at school. She seemed to get on with the new lifestyle great as well. She got along with the small family, and even got along with her adoptive brothers friends. And although this may sound great to any other normal teen, Gwen was still ridden with the trauma and guilt of her past. Sleepless nights were a common occurrence, as were the nightmares that had her jolting up in bed, drenched in sweat with a scream. Even given the chance of a new life, her past seemed to follow her everywhere she went. ━━━━━━━━ Steve Harrington x Fem OC Slow burn! season 1- ✅ season 2- ✅ season 3- ✅ season 4- ✅ season 5- tba!
