A different (maybe imaginary) take on a modern arranged marriage first date!

Almost every second person we stumble across is looking for someone. They might not express it in any way, or completely frown upon the idea to throw you off. But we all know that's with the times getting tougher, and people acting tougher, the need for a partner is ever growing.

That said, nobody will accept it as this is the era of career-oriented, growth-focussed ambitious sharks and the want of companionship is very easily assumed as a weakness. Plus there's always the unwillingness to step out of the comfort zone and share our space with someone else 24*7. This is where the concept of marriage gets trickier!

Only if Indian parents were as understanding of the situation as the mid to late 20s youth wants them to be! They'll try everything in their power to ensure that you are getting married by the time they've planned for you, no matter how you feel about it!

This story is about two such individuals who are both unwilling to consider the prospect of a marriage, and their parents who are determined to find someone for them. Contrary to the concept of the traditional settings, it portrays a conversation that's as raw as it can get.

Maybe it's just another cliche'. Maybe it's another attempt at stimulating a YouTube short video. Maybe it's something that is too fictitious to be true. Be so as it may, here's how it goes.

Imaan never imagined that love could be this complicated. It wasn't supposed to be this way. Growing up, she had always been told that love would come when it was meant to, that it would be simple and pure-guided by faith, respect, and the traditions of her Pakistani roots. But now, sitting in her room late at night, watching the soft glow of her phone screen, she wondered if she was meant to just follow the path laid out for her, or if there was more to love than what she'd been taught. It had started when she met Rayan again after all those years. They had known each other since middle school, but it was only now, in high school, that something shifted. He wasn't just the guy she'd seen in passing anymore. He was someone who made her feel seen, heard, and respected in ways she hadn't even known she needed. But there was a problem. Her heart was still tied to the past-the scars of a relationship that had torn her apart. Aayan. She had loved him with all her heart, only to find out that he had been unfaithful. He had broken her trust, and with it, the possibility of ever believing in love again. Now, with Rayan, she faced a new kind of fear. Could she trust him? Could she let herself fall in love again? Or would her past repeat itself? As Imaan lay awake that night, the answer was clear. The fear of getting hurt was too great. But deep inside, something whispered: Maybe love is worth the risk.
