16 year old, Nancy Thomas, moves to Tulsa, Oklahoma in June of 1965, just as summer vacation starts. She doesn't have that much of a personality, unless you describe her as snarky and optimistic. She later meets some boys at a gas station, one catches her eye, Dallas Winston. She refuses to fall for anyone, but things change when she gets close with Dallas. As she continues on through summer she falls for Dally and has to deal with the feud between him and her brother, Henry, who is falling hard for Sherri Valance. Will things go downhill? Will Nancy and Dallas end up together? 


Read to see what happens for Nancy in the summer of 1965.
