Connor Mckinley is working a minimum wage job in a place very dear to his heart. Surrounding him are childhood friends and a work family stronger than his own, and all is well when they are by his side. When evening calls however, he returns home to a cluttered flat in a rundown apartment block; his bills are mounting up at his doorstep, and the love whom he cares for refuses to pay a dime. Despite his lack of effort, Connor loved Steve Blade. As much as a human being could love. But nobody warned him of the pain love would bring. Kevin Price however brought him bliss, and replenished a childhood nostalgia and safety he longed to feel for years prior. This longing made him question what was so special about 'love'. Who would weep for anguish and heartache, when heaven was laying right at their doorstep?

Unrealistic Fanfiction ~ Vampires Rebecca Woods thinks that love, lust, and romance don't exist. Or, at the very least, they don't keep the same company. So when she literally bumped into a handsome guy in the middle of a parking lot, she was extremely confused about the feelings stirring inside. So were those around the man on a mission, feeling the change in him the moment their eyes met. Both determined to prove their theories of a lack of love, they'll try to push each other away and futilely ignore what the universe is telling them. Of course, it is the universe, and what the universe says, goes. ~~~~~ My body acted on its own accord now. At a painfully slow pace, I stood up from my desk and walked around it. I took the coffee from his hand, placing the cup down on a far corner of the desk before grabbing his wrist and dragging him further into my office. Just the feeling of his wrist under my finger sent a thrill through me. I slammed shut my office door then did what any sane person would do: I hugged him. And he let me. ~~~~~ "He's not a fucking blood-sucking leech like the ones you hang out with. Just because you made that mistake doesn't mean I have." #2 colbybrock 4th March 2021 This book will be very long, just to warn all you beautiful readers.
