Hawk Branwen is the adopted son of the legendary huntsman, Qrow Branwen, and has always been considered very special. His eyes change color based on his emotions, and he has one thing different from his dad. 

With the son of the Headhunter of Vacuo, the granddaughter of the Fish Warrior of Mistral, and the nephew of the General of Atlas, the four of them form Team HYLT. 

'Where even in the darkest time, they are the beacon that shines bright for hope.'

Weiss and Kuraime finally escape from Atlas and are on their way to Mistral but not everything goes to plan as their ship crashes into the territory of Bandits, more specifically, The Branwen Tribe. Blake, Tyros, Sun and the parents of the Belladonnas plan to take The White Fang back and save Haven Academy from the same fate as Beacon with the help of the Faunus from Menagerie. Y/N Rose was the son of Qrow Branwen and Summer Rose, and the oldest child of the Rose family. Due to Qrows' semblance and a messy end to they're relationship, He was mostly absent but he did try to be there for the children when he could. But everything soon went down hill when Summer disappeared. The children where heartbroken but Tai, saddened and enraged at Summers disappearance began to take his frustrations out on the children. Y/N would try to make the most of it, and protect Yang and Ruby from Tais' wrath, often times taking a beating and going without food for days. As time went on Tai got increasingly worse, and Y/N became the sole target of abuse. Yang and Ruby would try to help as best they could but it wasn't enough, Y/N could bare it no more. Y/N attempted to contact Qrow and reveal the conditions and fear they lived in, But Tai got him first. Beaten bloodied, Y/N would take a moment to recover and escape with his sisters....
