His mother always said that he had more energy than his own good. She was always so strict, but you know what they say. Strict parents call for a rebellious child. He used to complain he was bored, but his mother would say, "Bored! How can you be bored? I was never bored at your age." Or how about at the dinner table, when she would say,"Don't talk with your mouth full!" And which of course he still did, "Don't walk away when I'm talking to you!" or his favorite, "Eat your vegetables, they're good for you." That's when Mary Beth went out one morning to check the mail, and noticed a fairly handsome boy laying in her mother's garden. There he laid in her first prized radishes, eating her mother's carrots. Roger is a seventeen year old junior in high-school. Hiding in Mary-Beth's mother's garden isn't his first hobby. Roger gets himself in all sorts of troubles, and who would of thought love was one of them."I'll treat you like an adult when you start acting like one." his mother would say, and let's be honest Roger wasn't growing up anytime soon.
"FIGHTING AGAIN!?" My mom yelled at me as she furiously cut up carrots. "Yes but, it was for a good cause." I explained, trying to reason with her. She slammed the knife on the counter and turned towards me placing her hands on her hips, "NIA! When is breaking a girls nose a good cause?!" She snapped.
"When some bitc-" I paused, catching myself before I got slapped, "When some chick wants to talk about my mom!" I snapped. "Im a grown ass woman, I don't care what some little girl has to say about me. I can't with you anymore, I don't know what to do with you!" She sighs, rubbing her temples.
"You're moving in with your father."
Nia Carter got into a fight, again. Her mom is furious. What happens when she has to go and live with her Father, Greg, and his home-wrecking wife in New York?
