I Can't Forget You (NugFry)

"It's been years. I think it's finally time."

Fry sighed as he clenched the letter he had found. He knew he'd be nervous, but he wasn't going to let someone steal Nugget that easily.

Fry and Nugget have been best friends for as long as they can remember. Yet Nugget is oblivious to the fact that Fry has a massive crush on her. Every time she calls him "Bestie" or "My friend," it secretly hurts. He wishes he could confess, but even when he's "taken care of" so many people, the nerves always get to him. He had always loved Nugget from afar and would often watch her every move. The moment they finally met after he saved her from a war only made him fall deeper in love.

The day Fry reads a letter from a man thought to be dead, he knows he has to confess and fast. The only problem is.. his nerves keep preventing him from saying so much as an "I love you" without having to add "my friend" at the end of it. He knows this letter is a sign. He just doesn't know when to accept it. Will Fry's nerves finally calm down, or will he be forced to watch from the side as his one true love is taken right in front of him?
