Meet Pearl Carlson, a 20-year-old Christian young adult from a middle-class family, living with her widowed mum and younger twin siblings in Boston. Pearl finally got her greatest dream which was studying at the great New York University(NYU) on a transfer Scholarship.
When excited and nervous Pearl finally gets to NYU, she discovered that there is more to what she has seen and read about the prestigious college. She felt like she was in a different world entirely.

Will Pearl be able to cope with her new environment? will she hold strongly to her faith and morals? or will she allow the raging waves to sweep her away?
Especially when she meets arrogant and spoilt Kayla Roberts who is her roommate, self obnoxious, arrogant, and rude Jason Cowell, son of a multi-millionaire, and Tyler Brighton, Jason's friend.
