It Never Ends

A lot can happen in a street where families aren't always blood related, criminals come and go, marriages, births and deaths, new faces and old faces.

Patrick Square is like a revolving door for all of the above, a conveyor belt for troubles and dramas where the police don't sniff more than 10 metres around the perimeter and panic buttons in every building. Employment is never above board, the residents with kids to nearly every neighbour and scrimping for cash is only on the surface.

Jasmine Bhatti - resident ice Queen of Patrick Square, rich business woman who was popular amongst folk for all of the wrong reasons, she was argumentative, hard to crack, a scowl that could turn a person to stone

Jessie Lawson - free out of jail for the first time in 3 years so she returned to her roots, back to the square, no money in her pocket, 2 pairs of jeans, a pair of joggers and some clean underwear.

How can two people so dramatically polar opposite possibly meet and expect to even know how to say 'hi' to each other let alone live in the same square?

Jessie is a loose cannon, charming, charismatic and endearing. Jaz is a mother to three children, 2 boys and girl, a hard faced older woman with a deep soft side, a yearning to care for those she chose to love.
