"This Is Me Trying" is about admitting one's flaws and mistakes while making real efforts to make things right. 

It's about people who are fighting battles in silence, it could also be centered on someone's life and reflections on their past decisions.

The song "I'm BLUE!" is clearly about being you own self and staying true to yourself, no matter how different everyone may think that you are.
