The death of Alexander's parents has always been a sore subject for her. Since then, she's gotten custody of her little brother, Syrus, after leaving the foster system once she turned eighteen. The only thing that happened to be holding her back was the fact that she's found comfort in using alcohol as a coping mechanism. When she comes back from rehab after two months, she realizes the anniversary of her parent's death is approaching which causes her habit to return. In desperate need of a distraction, she chooses to confide in her best friend's closest friend, Cassie Howard. What would happen when her best friend tells Alex to stay away from Cassie or when Cassie keeps pushing for an explanation? Will that be enough for Alex to resist her, or will Alex just keep her in the dark?
