Seventeen year old Riane has everything. She lives in comfort, never goes hungry, has plenty of friends and a loving family. Being the princess of a thriving kingdom, Riane believes that she leads a perfect life, until disaster strikes the bustling merchant community.
A plague has taken the kingdom. First it was a sickness; a small nuisance causing some to miss a hard day's work at the farms. Then, travelling merchants would return with the new sickness, and the only way to stop it is to sell off the princess to the highest bidder to fund the cure. Riane uncovers the past she never suspected she had, makes unstable alliances with those she despises, and all this she must do without losing her sense of self. Can Riane rebuild an entire kingdom alone, or will she crack under the pressure?

Demalynn is surprised to find out she is the Helper, but is astounded to learn the identity of the Gravidarum. Demalynn must battle to stay alive and fumbles towards the realization that Aiden is much more than a close friend. She is certain, with the certainty that only a seventeen-year-old can possess, that Aiden is her only true love. Peter Pan and Abigail spend time together both good with some laughs and bad with a lot of screaming and tears while she attempts to get off of the island without any help from Peter or the lost boys. Will Abigail make it off the island? Will Peter give up his villain ways to be with Abigail? Does Abigail stay in Neverland forever and not age? Or does she take Peter and the lost boys back to Storybrooke with her?
