As summer begins, 16 year old Victoria Ragsdill travels to Jericho, Vermont to stay with family during break. Knowing only a small amount of the trauma this town recently experienced, she is determined to get answers from the locals and a few students from the well-known Nevermore Academy, along with the help of her two cousins and a few friends made along the way. 
    With new murder cases piling up since the day of her arrival, she wonders if those she has entrusted and befriended are really as they seem, or is there a bloodthirsty killer unexpectedly lying beneath?
