In the frigid and ethereal realms of the Austral Lands, spring blossomed fleetingly.

Hakon, a half-elf, sought solace amidst the pale beauty of the River of Graces. Content in his daily routine of cleansing fruits and vegetables along the tranquil shores, he yearned for nothing more than a moment of respite.

But fate had other plans in store.

Disrupting the tranquility of his riverside haven, the rhythmic thud of heavy footsteps announced the arrival of an unexpected visitor. And when the knight finally emerged from the forest, it was not the formidable presence of a warrior that took Hakon aback, but the piercing gaze of a woman hidden beneath the helmet. A fellow half-elf, hailing from the illustrious Winter Court, but also tarnished by mixed-blood.

As she settled herself beside him on the riverbank, their encounter marked the beginning of a fateful journey, forever altering their destinies. Little did Hakon know that the arrival of this mysterious warrior would herald a profound shift in the path of his life.

In this realm of ever-shifting currents, no one could never step into the same river twice.

"You Wouldn't Know"

29 parts Complete

"What do you want?" she asked still facing away from the other. Her eyes were focused on the rippling water in the fountain before her. The other stood quietly for a second. "I want you to know that... even if you're my enemy, I can look past our differences." She kept her eyes on the water and snickered taking the other girl by surprise. "And what if I don't?" she said now making eye contact with the other. Her face was dusted in red from frustration and embarrassment. "Suit yourself then!" she huffed and stormed away. She looked back once more before disappearing into the moonlit forest. ----
