'The two of you sat in comfortable silence for the first twenty minutes of the ride, just enjoying the moment - the small moment you get to spend with each other. Venti grabbed your hand gently as he caressed your knuckles with his thumb, humming along to one of his favorite songs. Well, it became his favorite song, you were the one that said it was your favorite, and the one who showed him it first. The first time you played it for him he complained that it was too simple in its beat and that the lyrics were - in his words - shitty. You laughed at him and punched his shoulder playfully as if it didn't offend you, and it didn't, but you just said that he'd grow to love it.

He stopped at a red light just outside of downtown and he glanced at you, noticing your small smile as you gave his hand a gentle squeeze. His heart melted and his eyes softened with adoration.
