High school is when it happened. Criminals start to die, and I start to be more careful of what I'm doing. But we all knew about the one who kills them all... Kira.... I don't believe the fact that he's a god like everyone says... What's more weird, other than Kira, is the fact that the top student in school, Light Yagami, wants to befriend me. College life is the next step in my life. After college I want to join the police force, work under cases and such. Kira is still going around, killing people, now starting to kill innocent people. Then, the person who I'm forced to sit with talks to me again... Light.. But I know that knowing Light... Makes me feel uneasy. Especially ever since I passed notes with him in high school. Ever since then, I saw something by his side at all times, a shinigami... Shinigami.. Gods of death... Then there's a notebook I noticed that Light had.. Death note... I think Light is Kira.. But then I meet L, a member of the group who's working on the Kira case, the best detective in Japan, the one person who hides his identity.... Can I tell him..? Can I trust him...? He seems to trust me enough to tell me that he's L. But there are a few things stuck in my head... Why did he offer me to help him? Why does he want me to help at all? Why does he want me by his side? Why does he want me to choose a letter as a name? Especially for broadcasting? L.... You care about me... Don't you? Or... Are you just trying to make me feel welcome..? This was originally going to have a character but then I decided to make it and L x Reader story. Your point of view will be written in first person, this is only because this is my first x reader story. But I hope you enjoy nonetheless. Pain, that was all I felt as her blade pierced my chest. A bloody smile made its way across my face as memories ran through your mind. I knew from the moment that I was told that I was a big sister that I was going to die because of him, for him. I just hope that he can finally make the world a peaceful place like he promised me he would. I winced as the pain got worse but I can bear the pain, for I know it will go away soon. I can see the blurry image of my fathers panicked and grief stricken face. "Don't worry dad, as long as he is ok" my eyes turned to my brother, the boy who saved me from the darkness. For him, I would do this over and over for eternity. Looking in his eyes I can see his pain and how I wished I could take it away, but as my eyes closed and I gave into the warm darkness, I heard my name, calling me back. But I couldnt go back, I can't. I'm dead.Complete

You looked around and didn't recognize anyone or thing. You backed away from the crowd of people. Some weren't awake yet, others were. The ones that were awake were being loud, you couldn't focus on anything. Everything was stressing you out. Suddenly, everyone shut up once someone said something. "Everyone shut up!" Someone yelled. Everyone looked over at them. It was some guy with dyed blue hair. He appeared pretty tall. He was wearing a tank top with a leather jacket over it. He looked clearly annoyed. Seeing him made you worried about what he'd say next. "Jesus, you all are so goddamn annoying. Just chill out a bit and stop being so goddamn loud." Was all he said once everyone shut up.
