A different hybrid

Since there was not much of a family background for Alaric Saltzman I am going to make one myself so please bare with me since this will be a bit of a crossover of the TVDU and SPNU.
Serena Saltzman is the niece of Alaric Saltzman Serena's mother was born a werewolf and her estranged father who left when she was still young was born a warlock. Serena and her mother weren't the only werewolves in town the others were stupid enough to attract attention from hunters who hunted them all down except for Serena. She then moves to mystic falls to tell her uncle all what happened and that she is now a possible target and needs his protection
