The Minstrel

There is a tale of a woman whose beauty is unmatched and her voice can serenade any man or beast. She is known only as the Minstrel, and she is the one last beautiful thing in a land ravaged by plague, where villages and towns have boarded themselves away to prevent infection. The rats spread the sickness, and they are everywhere, feasting on their food, outnumbering them by the millions. The Minstrel, with her siren's voice, can rid these villages of their rat infestation, for a price, of course. And woe to those who refuse payment.
