The Battle-Mage of Hellmount

The story is about a powerful warrior named Galen, who possesses the gift of repelling magic spells. He is called upon to join a group of sellswords to retrieve an ancient djinni's amulet, which is being held captive in the Hellmount, a place of pure evil.

Galen is accompanied by Bronwyn, a lady-in-waiting who can also shapeshift, and Abracadabra, a dwarven weaponsmith who serves as the guild house's second-in-command. The group is armed with various weapons and rides on warhorses as they make their way to the Hellmount.

As they approach the cave where the djinni is held captive, they must battle demon spawn and dragon kind. Galen's antimagic powers repel their spells, and the group fights their way through to reach the cave. They must then face giant-kin who are immune to antimagic, but Galen instructs the group on how to take them down.

Once they defeat the giants, they enter the cave to find the djinni's amulet guarded by an eyestalk monster. Galen engages in a spell duel with the monster, while Bronwyn and Abracadabra protect him. Galen emerges victorious, and they quickly make their way out of the Hellmount.

Upon returning to their guild house, Galen entrusts the extraplanar artifact to the spirit-staff called gliurbex to keep it safe. Galen becomes known as a legendary antimagic warrior, and his exploits are passed down from generation to generation.
