Qibli gazed at the dunes as they flew, deep in thought.
The desert had always been empty. All the Sandwings lived in oasis cities; the long stretches of sand surrounding them was nothing like the mountains in the Sky Kingdom or the trees in the Rainforest Kingdom.
But this was a different kind of empty. It felt different, he was sure.
Because nobody was in the desert now except them. The students at Jade Mountain were the last dragons on the continent.

And what will happen when a bully Skywing keeps making her doubt that being a hybrid is somehow wrong? Will Spirit be able to recover her regular self or will she give up and become a doormat? And how will a secret admirer come into play? Especially when Spirit begins to get more visions of strange giant creatures deep within the ocean.
