Frustrated that Kudo Ranran was barely doing anything at home during the holidays besides video gaming and sitting in front of the computer all day long, her parents along with the others of Teitan elementary school decided to ship of their children on a free camping trip offered to their school in the middle of nowhere, a thing she hugely detest since this means no wi-if or gaming.

Just when she was assuming this trip was bound to be the worst day of her life, a unexpected murder set a chain of events that led her and Shinichi to go after a murderous killer on the loose. A unspeakable tragedy that took place years ago led them to more deaths as time goes by.
