Addison goes through it all trying not to rethink the past, leaving it behind.

Santa Monica welcomes her with open arms, making her discover another reality, which until then she could not even imagine: the beach, the sea, the warm California sun and friends.

Unfortunately, she will also meet Logan, the classic bad boy, a whoremonger, popular, captain of the hockey team. In short, the kind of guy Addison has always hated.

LITTLE PIECES OF THE BOOK:

Our faces are inches apart and I feel my lips incredibly dry.

I run my tongue over them and hear his breath break. Slowly he reaches over and grabs a lock of my hair that was left out of the tail I made in the car. He pulls it slightly and I start to feel very warm.

I feel his hand move from the edge of the bed to my side, it is resting on my bare skin left exposed by my shirt and where it rests I am filled with shivers.

He opens the door to the room and makes to leave but stops.
She turns and says:
"Making love."
"What?" I ask confused and embarrassed.
"Another way to call sex is making love. I forgot about that."
With that said he turns and walks out.
