Hi! I'll get straight to the point. All this happened when Buck decided to file a lawsuit against the 118, his family. Everyone was angry and disappointed. Since then, no one has said anything to him other than a normal hi. I slightly changed the places of action that actually happened in the series- this only follows scenes from certain episodes, not the whole episodes. At the beginning of each chapter there will be a TW or a message as a small introduction. English is not my first language and this is my first story, I hope you will enjoy it. Oh and of course I don't own the 911 series and the characters, Fox does.

Buck is spiraling, he knows he is. "Spiral up," his therapist had been telling him. Yeah, sure, he could totally do that from his current position circling the drain. Or, TK, Carlos, and the rest of the 126 are in LA for a first responders convention where they get a chance to reunite with the 118 family. After Buck files the lawsuit and has gone back to work, everyone at the 118 ignores him. So when he gets seriously injured will anyone notice or will it be to late. Set sometime after 3x04 but doesn't follow the episodes.Complete

Buck wanted to go home. He wanted nothing more than to be back with his family and to go home. Things had been rough this last year though, first his leg got crushed, he had a pulmonary embolism, he was told he couldn't come back to work, and then there was a tsunami. Even with now being allowed back at work after making the mistake of filing a lawsuit, things were still a bit strained. His family and home still felt like they were an arm's length out of reach. Then, things get even worse somehow when he and the rest of the team get sent to see Dr. Wells after a particularly rough call.Complete

But during his healing, he also gets a shocking surprise. One that just might give Buck the push he needed in his life to keep pushing forward.
