She was recruited by the SSR straight out of highschool due to her intelligence. She was smart, a genius in fact, one who could rival Howard Stark. Although she worked with the man, he never once put her down, he would ensure that everyone knew her contribution to the war efforts and the projects. 

When project rebirth was ready, Emma volunteered in secret for the test run, wanting to prove herself, and to others that just because she was a woman, didn't mean she could make a difference and fight.

Now standing on the frontlines, with her brother and best friend, Emma hoped to show the world, that women were just as strong and equal as men. Little did she know, that this war would take everything from her.

When new intel comes through about a Hydra weapon, the avengers split into two teams, one checking out a new base, while the other scours an old one.
