I didn’t know who I was. I didn’t know where I was. The only thing that I remembered was Audrey, just Audrey. That must have been my name. But why? Why was I here? Why was I falling? Suddenly, below me, interrupting my thoughts, a small speck of yellow appeared, getting bigger... bigger. Was I falling into the sun? SPLAT! I slipped into yellow liquid. I panicked. I couldn't breathe. Then, it was dark again.

OLD: While I'm very proud for this being my first completed major project, it's still old as hell, several things make 0 sense and there's a lot of random convoluted stuff and little consistency, especially in characters. This was something I wrote to escape when I was down and often sleep-deprived so I just wrote what I felt like in the moment. THIS ALSO APPLIES TO ITS SEQUELS. If that isn't your thing, I wouldn't recommend this.Complete

"What the hell?" I took a step closer to the mirror, staring at my reflection in disbelief. The person looking back was still me, but at the same time it wasn't. I had the same thick, dark, curly hair. The same hazel eyes. The same olive skin with a light dusting of freckles (ugh) scattered across the bridge of my nose. But my curls were now streaked with highlights. And not the subtle, golden-brown ones that sometimes appeared during the summer. No, these were an aggressive, dazzling blond that went from the roots of my hair all the way to the tips. It looked like I had spent a full day getting my hair done in some upscale salon. Never mind that I had never set foot in such a place since the day I was born. My eyes appeared somehow wider and more luminous. The colour brighter, my eyelashes darker up against them. And, when I looked closely, my pupils seemed to be slitted almost like a cat. I looked down at my body. My skinny arms-which had always refused to gain any definition no matter how hard I exercised-were lined with flat, wiry muscles. My bony shoulders were now curved and smooth. My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath. My whole body was rippling with strength. Like liquid steel.Complete

Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?" "Ezra, you know once you turn them, they hate you," "I didn't hate pops," "You wanted to join though," "True, but first see if she wants to be turn before you jump to conclusions," I nodded my head, before me and Ezra took off to find some fresh blood for the night.
