Lavender thought that she had it made by being the president's daughter, that is until she became of age and it was time for her to find her match and begin working. Lavender lives in a society where once you turn eighteen you are to be given a quiz that will determine your life and fate within society. She thought she wanted the life her parents had created for her and her peers until she meets Alex, her new neighbor. Alex is able to show her the flaws within this type of living and the two of them create a plan to leave together. Will things go as planned, or will Lavender's parents and the rest of society catch onto their plan before they can accomplish it?

Have you ever dreamt of a world with no adults? admit it, you thought it would be great right? no-one to tell you what to do or tell you off, but for a young girl of the age of sixteen, this is her life. She must survive to look after her siblings and herself. The world has turned into a crazy place with tribes ruleing and with street fights and the cities damaged. Its a place where kids rule, only its how they chose to survive that can get them through in the end.
