Cara awoke in the forest to find her mother dead. She runs her way home back into the middle of the forest. She finds a letter left by her mom telling her to find the Cave of the Gold Cougar. On her way there she meets Alex and they become best friends and he takes her to the Cave. When she meets the leader of the cave, Danny, she also meets his son, Jensen. Their romance isn't enough to make Cara stay when the Cave is attacked by humans. Will she be the same again?
