Wings of Fire; Torn Between Sides
This book is a little outdated and will be getting a rewrite soon! ------------------ Fighting, dragons were always fighting in the Rainforest. Not physically, but verbally. The Rainforest Kingdom was being torn apart by its residents. The RainWing's and NightWing's. Queen Dandelion and King Palmtree are doing nothing to calm down their tribe, so, someone else has to. Lavender is an seven year old dragonet who belongs to both tribes. She's a hybrid, born from her RainWing mother and NightWing father. Her life is wonderful, at least in her family and small village close to the edge of the Rainforest. But, she's starting to notice the change within everyone, as if they know something is coming, something bad. Lavender wants to keep her kingdom safe, just like all dragons do, but she also wants to keep everyone connected and stop them from being torn apart. Will she be able to fix the ties that brought the RainWing's and NightWing's together? Or will they be split apart and she'll be stuck between torn sides. ------------------------ The Wings of Fire series is written by Tui T. Sutherland and this is just a fan-fiction based off of her series. No characters within this book are from the cannon books and it doesn't follow the cannon timeline. Prince Envy thinks he has been, supposedly, 'blessed' by an animus dragon when he was just an egg. He has the ability to turn 'berserk', a form where he increases his size four times larger than the average dragon... some kind of super-soldier, with other powers that are not common in Pyrrhian dragons.. this HAS to be some kind of animus magic at work. But all goes wrong when he accidentally reveals his abilities, and his power-hungry family attempts to use Envy for their own bidding. Seeing the destruction of his family before him, once Envy escapes the claws of the NightWings, he tries to get the Gem of Tyranny before the seven tribes of Pyrrhia ultimately destroy him and each other for it. As Clue gets himself wrapped up in the prophecy while trying to find a way for himself and the others to get off the planet, they learn that there's more to this new world that meets the eye, and that they have to be careful if they want a chance to escape.
