Giyu Tomioka has been through lots of loss and heartbreak. Losing his sister, his best friend, and not to mention the constant vulgar teasing of his fellow Hashira. He doesn't feel he belongs there. The only place he ever felt he belonged was gone. The only place he felt safe and could relax. It's not fair.

Both of then eventually fell in love, and they even dated. Everything was great until they had a mission involving a lower moon. After the mission they got hashira position, but unfortunately... Iguro got a memory loss about Tomioka at that mission... □■□■□■□■□■□ Demon Slayer characters do not belong to me, they belong to Koyoharu Gothouge.
