Take My Heart to the Depths
A story similar to a classic fairy tale, but with a major twist ... What if the little mermaid were a deep sea merman instead? And what if the human he fell in love with went to live with him in the sea instead? Though born as a regular human on land, Henrietta always felt as if she were suffocating. She struggled to survive and belong among her kind. On a night when she sought to end her life at sea, she was rescued by Elsen, a merman who had once felt the same as her. Despite coming from different worlds, their shared experiences instantly built a bridge between them. When misfortune struck again, Henrietta lost her home and was driven to the edge once more. Seeing that she had nowhere else to go, Elsen brought her to his home in the deep sea. Although the ocean depths were tranquil and soothing, Henrietta's heart was still plagued with worries. Cursed with fins
My name is Skylar Smith, On a normal walk back home from a friends house, a storm hits. I get sucked down into a whirlpool and I come out with fins. Now each passing day I'm becoming more mermaid than human. Later, when I'm almost fully mermaid, the REAL mermaids want me to stay in the ocean forever with them. I have to stay away from the real mermaids and I can't let people know. I have to avoid water the best I can. I have to find a way to reverse the curse before time runs out....
