The Mute

Liam watched in horror as his mother was killed right in front of his eyes. "Mommy!" He managed to choke out through the sobs. Liam jumped in his bed, he was 17, and when he was only 10 years old his mother was killed, while he was forced to watch. He would tell who did it. But, he was who he depended on, he was his father... His father had murdered his mother on his 10th birthday, ever since then Liam dreads his birthday. The memories never left him, and he couldn't do anything about it. Everyone thought he was a freak, mostly because Liam didn't talk much, not at school, not anywhere. Most people think he's creepy and won't talk to him once they figure out that he's not going to talk. All Liam wanted was for someone to try and figure him out rather than label him a weirdo.
