With tears in my eyes, I listened to that song he told me about, cried till I couldn't breathe laying on the hospital bed trying to calm down.

"I will protect you" he once said well now I'm here at a hospital because you left.

I missed him how a lost kid would miss home because he was my home, I missed the feeling I felt when I was with him, the feeling of being at ease, the feeling of being as free as a dove, he was like that light at the end of my dark hallway which is now gone...

He left yet my heart still aches for him, even tho he left the abandoned corridors of my heart still echo with his footsteps late at night when I'm all alone thinking about how life could've been like if he was still here.

If I can't have you I'll pray so that I can see you once again when we face each other after we take out last breath.
