Neteyam was supposed to die that night on the rocks. Yet he didn't. Saralyn, a young traveler saved him. She is an outcast, no clan and no belonging. The Sullys do not trust her, but when she is forced to stay with the Metkayina clan and the family, feelings change. Distrust becomes curiosity and eventually friendship.
