When a disastrous tornado wrecks every twoleg nest in their village, the kittypets are left helpless. Their only option has become clear: they must band together to establish a new way of life. These cats have listened to the careful guidance of StarClan: are they ready to live their brand new lives as warriors? Only the new clans can decide.

When the cats have found places to take refuge in groups, they find their way, preparing to take on daring new lives as warriors. Slowly, they settle into Clan life, as newcomers in this vast biome, containing Mountains, swamps, bays, and dense birch forests. This story will follow the life of Duneleap, from the very beginning.
