By the Light of the Moon

Alice West is a 21-year-old Gracefallen - a hybrid of a human and a Guardian of the Will - as well as a descendant of the Fallen Guardian, Laibrecorumiel. Her home is New York's Underworld, a place left in ruins underneath NY's Asgard complex, where the fortunate and the social elites live. She is also a trusted member of the largest gang in New York, The Fallen Angels, working to help defend its claimed territory.

On the other hand, 22-year-old Chance Porter is a member of the Quasar Force, a group of mercenaries who take on tough jobs in the name of justice. With his trusty Quasar Star Jar, he can easily suit up and head into battle at a moment's notice. He's a new recruit, but he's been quickly learning his duties and working his way up the ranks.

When things don't go quite according to plan for both Alice and Chance, a sudden encounter forces them to team up and teach each other what they don't know, while building an unexpected alliance against both local and intergalactic enemies.
