He throws his hands up in the air, frustration clear on his face and I swallow hard having to look away from his intense gaze.
"But you left," I whisper meekly feeling my guard crumble bit by bit. The silence between me and Reid is tense. The way we look at each other has my heart pounding in my chest and my breath stuttering. There's a metre between us and Reid's chest heaves as he tries to calm down. "You left, Reid." I croak, my eyes burning with tears and his face softens.
He closes the space between us and cradles my face in between his large, soft, tattooed hands, leaning down to rest his forehead against mine, his eyes fluttering shut.
