a poem is a song
a lyric of life,
a voice of emotion
and a reflection of strife.
a poem can be funny
and make you laugh out loud,
or it can be serious
and make you ponder its cloud.
a poem can take time
but the result is worth it,
a creation of beauty
that can make you commit.

Trapped in my own head
She is an outcast. She finds it easier to express what she feels in the form of writing. Whether it is poems, letters or long texts. These are poems that she writes trying to describe how it feels to live with certain mental health issues, in a world that disregards outcasts. So, these are on the darker side of the spectrum. Some poems might be distressing for some readers. I personally enjoy consuming dark content, it's kinda like a coping mechanism. I really hope none of you relate with any of these :) I'll be posting only poems here, I'll try to be as active as I can. The poems are not in any order. They are just the thoughts that pop up any time of the day. (8.11.2023) PS: Please check out 'safe space'. I need your help to make it a real safe space, readers! The Pieces of You
If you really want to know the pain and heartbreak you put me through, this is for you. I know you will never want to know what you did to me. It's easier for you to just forget about it and act like it never even happened. Unfortunately I cannot forget. Here's everything anyway, for my sake. #11 in poetry #1 in heartbreakpoems #1 in poems #1 in sadpoemsConcluida

Life can be gloomy and heavy sometimes, but when you least expect it, you may encounter a fresh gust of wind that brings the warmth of love. In those moments, the clouds of melancholy and despair part, and there is a ceasefire of the blues!
