Stephanie Abrams was done with Johnny Lawrence. Or at least, she was trying to be.
After catching him cheating, she swore she'd never waste another second on him. No more late-night phone calls. No more excuses. No more falling for that stupid smirk. She was moving on-going out, living her life, proving to herself (and to him) that she didn't need Johnny Lawrence to be happy.
But Johnny? He wasn't about to let her go that easily.
He wants her back, and he'll do whatever it takes-apologies, grand gestures, even playing nice with her friends. But for every sweet moment, there's a reminder of why they crashed and burned in the first place-his temper, his jealousy, his need to control everything, especially when it comes to her. And when his obsession with a new kid in town, Daniel LaRusso, spirals into an all-out war, Stephanie starts to wonder if Johnny really wants her back... or if he just can't stand losing.

One thing that makes it worse for the both of them is Marie's previous relationship with Johnny Lawrence, the head student of the Cobra Kai's. The night of the Halloween dance, however, Daniel's attempt to get revenge on Johnny results in both him and Marie getting jumped. Luckily for both of them, the maintenance man, Mr Miyagi, comes to the rescue with a little help from Marie. With the threat of getting his ass constantly kick, Daniel asks Mr Miyagi for help to learn Karate. And with only a few months before the All Valley Karate Tournament, Daniel could use all the help he can get. The relationship between Marie and Daniel grows strong, but will it be able to withstand the overwhelming stress of Johnny, the Cobra Kai's and drama? Read to find out!
