As a young boy without memory of who he was , Varik met a girl that was called the 'demonic child ' , he stood up for her against the villagers but unfortunately he didnt stay long enough to build a bond with her . Now as an adult , Varik is a S-class wizard of the guild Blue Pegasus and is assigned on a mission with his fellow guild members to join forces with other guilds , to put a end to a dark Guild . He is impressed and inspired by the attitude of the fairytail members that he leaves his old guild to transfer to Fairytail. He never would have expected the demon girl was there , now as a sweet loving woman , Mirajane . He later learns why he had no memories and why his upbringing was strange, it's revealed later that he is one of Zeref's demons , a sun demon named Solarius, suspected to be on par with the sun god Apollo...
