Everything is not always as it seems.... Believe half of what of what you see and none of what you hear..... *** After being forced to a new life in a new school for ' special' children, Sophia Carter , has to deal with surviving amist werewolves, vampires....and many other mystic creatures you probably didn't think existed. What is more unsettling is the ghosts that keep intruding her dreams, wanting to tell their stories. When one of these ghosts appears to be a student of the school that had been brutally murdered a year ago, it's up to Sophia to solve his murder, but that's going to be hard when no one even knows he's even dead. **** "murderer.. psycho...a heartless sicko" none of these words in my head mattered until she showed up. She smelt like trouble. Why was she always looking beyond her reach... She wasn't even here when I pushed him into the lake . What does she even stand to gain by solving his murder. The police even gave up after six months. How does she want to solve a year old murder on her own. If she isn't careful I'll have to end her too. Buts it's just so sad, because after all these years of endless void , my heart finally resonates with someone and to be the one to end her life might just kill me. But I was dead inside from the very beginning.

My mother always told me when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When someone knocks you down, you get right back up. You fight the good fight until you have nothing left. You fight with honor, you protect the ones you love, and if you just happen to die in the process, than you do so with dignity and grace. What my mother neglected to tell me during my studies was that you don't always get what you want, the outcome you think is coming doesn't always happen, and when the smoke clears, you're always going to be the last one standing. By the end of The Certainty, Georgiana Vertigo is left with nothing more than her life, something many people would be more than happy to have. However, Georgiana is left to her own devices in a strange city, alone and heartbroken with regular intense bouts of depression. In starting a new life with the Guild, Georgiana has everything she needs in order to move on with her life and keep her mind off the past. Only problem is, the past is never truly forgotten and no matter how hard you try to shake them, the feelings that go along with the memories don't just fade away. ~ * ~ Alright, chickens. You asked for it (some of you at least) and here it is...well...part of it. Like I've told a few of you, this is a work in progress. I add pieces to it when I think of them. The posting on this story will NOT be regular but thankfully for you, I have quite a bit of it done. I just haven't decided if the path I take it down is the right one. So. I hope you enjoy it and I will give you a forewarning that as the story progresses, it gets a bit more adult. For those of us just joining the party because they stumbled across it in the Paranormal category, there is a whole series of books you have to read until you get to this one. Go start with The Beginning. You can find it under "My Works" on my home page.
