Ao'nung of the Metkayina is arranged to be married to Kiri of the Omaticaya in an attempt on building stronger generational alliance. For the first three months, Ao'nung will have to stay with the Omaticaya clan and learn their ways, and for the next three months, Kiri will stay with the Metkayina to learn their ways as well.
Yet within the process, Ao'nung finds himself falling for the attention of the eldest brother, Neteyam, who doesn't speak yet shows Ao'nung the world through silent lips through his eyes.
