Diana carter has been moving all her life but once the Carter's finally found a place after losing their beloved dad and husband. It's been hard for her especially getting into her hobby of acting a hobby her dad encouraged her to do.And now she has to settle down in a predominantly white neighborhood and school she's never really had to deal with.And now
she has to learn how to deal with certain things to liking cute boys to being proud of being black.Diana has to discover her own meaning of "black and proud"on her journey and a couple of other things on the way. But what will happen when she joins her theatre program at her school and meets a couple of people?
