A frozen world, void of sound. Void of war. Void of any noise beyond the pounding of thunder, the raging of lightning, and the soft swish of falling snowflakes.
Deep, in a land unseen by this modern world, lives a new species. The inheritors of this barren world. Prosperous...continuously improving...utilizing what their predecessors left behind. A city, ten years in the making, stood proud within the core of a snow field.
..Yeah, that's not where this story takes place.
Mere miles away from this city lived a small cluster of humanoids, all of whom have no memory of how they showed up in the area they lived in. Surrounded by refurbished cottages, each and every member of the small community lives their day-to-day lives in contentment, confusion, and caution..
(Author's Note: This story is an ongoing remaster of a video series on my channel called "Algi-Cosa-Thlon." Certain characters, events, and plot points will remain the same from that video series, however there will also be many changes made!)

Parallel Universe: A world conceived of as coexisting with and having certain similiarities to the known world but different from it in some fundamental way. Example: I am writing this book but the title is different in the other universe. They were in a parallel universe. Of course they did not realize this, as most people don't. The Noora and William we know in this universe is our reality, but a few things are different. Such as Eva never exsisting and being replaced by new people you've never met, or by Noora's terrible past catching up to her. Events and people are different and you will notice these things. When you do notice these things, do not be alarmed because this is not your universe, it is only a mirror image of what your universe could be. I have sat often in front of the computer, and stared long at the screen without ever writing a word. The synopsis for this project has haunted me since the first person asked me "So, what is it about?", and to this day I have never been able to deliver a straight answer. This book is about a number of things, many of which do not fit evenly into a succinct description. I have tried to make them fit and have found the resulting descriptions ill-representing and dull. Thus, I have decided to go without a description. This book will fade into obscurity no matter what I put here, so I might as well write what's really important. Winter in a city is an especially punishing time. This book comes out of my late nights and early mornings riding the train, and my looking at the window and being able to make out nothing but the blur of the glass. From the outside it may look dead, but certain people know that the inner workings of a city are a true marvel to behold. In writing this, I have tried to capture that marvel and deliver it to you, the reader. This is a book about a city and the people within it. The rest is up for you to read, if you so choose. Earth has Fallen, it's as simple as it states. Ten years prior, They came. The Tephra, came to Earth intending to take over the life baring Planet. A humanoid species more advanced in weaponry, skills and knowledge than the Human race; looked to make it their home. Countries leaders refused to allow such a thing to happen and war soon ensued. Countless lives wasted to the attack when peace and coexistence could have been an option. Human's, losing, resorted to no other option then chemical warfare. Lieth was born in Scottland and migrated to America as a child when she was ten years old, Ten years before the invasion. She was now 30yrs old. The chemical used in the war completely altered her genetic makeup. She stopped growing upon becoming infected and the effects were permanent. The chemical also caused her hair roots to stain a deep green hue giving her a more inhuman hair color. Her eyes defined her the most. They were a brilliant shade of Ember, like flames in a fire. Kaija was Heir to his Father's Reine. The Tephra were a very tall, fit, Agile and fast, clearly built for hunting. They also stopped aging once they hit adult-hood. Dying only due to sickness, accidents or being slain. Kai's hope was to hopefully unite both races, by force if needed. Kai had long white hair that went past his hips. His skin was a tannish cream tone, a scar over his left eye. He had an agile black tail that was adorned in gold armor. Long pointed elf-like ears. He wore black armor with gold trimming that was protective against attacks of any kind, but was very light making it easy for him to move around. Armored boots adorned with climbing spikes and gloves that exposed his razor-sharp claws. The most distinctive feature of all was the golden skill mask he wore that shown is crystalline blue hues.
