"Wait!" Arabelle sprinted up from the swing. "Declan!"

He stopped and turned around to face her. "What were you about to say about Elijah?" Arabelle was burning with curiosity at who this person might be.

His green eyes stared into her as a unknown emotion flickered with in them.

Hurt? Disappointment?

But it didn't matter. As quick as it came, the emotion had disappeared. Instead his eyes turned cold, unfamiliar.

"Forget it, it's nothing." He turned around and began to walk again but Arabelle stopped him again, this time out of desperation. She had to know how he knew about Blake.

"How did you know about Blake then? I never mentioned him," she questioned Declan as she looked intently at his face, to make sure that he was telling her the truth.

"Noah mentioned how you kept mumbling his name under your breath during class. Something about how he reminded you of Blake." His face was blank. She knew there was more that he wasn't telling her.

"Bu-"

"Listen Elle I'm sorry, but it's late and I really have to go," he gave me a pained smile, "I'll see you tomorrow okay?" She watched Declan as he walked out of the park and until he disappeared out of her sight.

Arabelle wasn't stupid. Okay, maybe sometimes she was, but she knew that he was lying and she was determined to find out the truth.

Please give this story a chance and tell me what you think!

I heard Jordan groan in frustration before he made his way over to me, crouching in front of me. That stupid signature smirk of his was back on his face again as he slowly but surely moved his head toward mine, his face tilting as his mouth got dangerously close to mine as every second slipped by. My breathing hitched, my heart pounded, and suddenly, out of nowhere, my fist formed, and it flew right into Jordan's face. He stumbled backward, losing his balance as he hit the edge of the table. ~ Casey Valentine. She's your typical girl-next-door, smart, slightly awkward girl just wanting to live her ordinary-enough life without any unnecessary drama, wanting to finish the last few months of her senior year of high school with flying colours before setting off on her journey towards the rest of her life. But her life changes suddenly when she discovers that there are multiple people all after her, and they might not all be in the same way. As time goes on, and Casey finds herself getting closer to each of them in ways she never expected, she learns a lot more about the world than she ever did before. Everyone has their own secrets, secrets they don't want anyone else discovering. Human lives are much more precious than she originally thought they were. She soon finds herself trapped in a vicious war that she wants nothing to do with, with danger attracted to her like a magnet. But what happens when she realises that something far more dangerous is at work; love? Well, I suppose that the only way to find the answer to that question is to take a dive into the deep end and join Casey on her journey. Not every story has a happy ending. ~ This is a story about love, and the power of friendship, that overcomes all obstacles, as cheesy as that sounds. One girl's destiny, although fatal, is the key to saving those around her from their inner turmoil. She has no idea just how important she really is, that she's the key to everyone else's happy ending.

"I knew if I wanted a relationship, I should find someone else. But I didn't want anyone else and I still don't." I managed to take his arm from around my waist without waking him up. Sighing with relief I was about to move closer to the edge of the bed but he grabbed me again, muttering something in his half asleep state. I tried to release his grip again but he woke up, grinning as soon as he seen me. His sleepy blue eyes looked at me. "Where are you going?" his grin widened. "I have to go." I whispered quietly, looking around the room. I really did have to go, I was supposed to be staying away from him wasn't I? The sun hadn't come up yet, it was still in the early hours of the morning. "Don't go." He groaned, pulling me in closer and squeezed my waist. I could sense his smile as he kissed my forehead. I didn't know what to do, his arms were more than inviting and I really didn't need a lot of convincing but I was starting to get tired of this secret thing again. Sure, Eric and I got along great, I really enjoyed his company but was it really worth lying to everyone about? *************** What happens when wallflower Florence and jock Eric decide to keep what's between them a secret? Can Florence really not get herself too attached and keep herself from getting hurt? The two are keeping some secrets of their own too, will they ever be discovered? As time goes by, it becomes harder and harder to hide it all, will they eventually crack?

Highest rank #27 in Teen Fiction. Written by @apricitys. _ _ _ "What is this?" He asked, not even bothering to look at the canvas in front of me. Instead, his eyes were locked in mine. I swallowed my saliva, chills running down my spine. I felt my palms getting sweaty as my legs nervously started bouncing up and down. Without giving me time to answer, he took a step closer to me, eyes still locked in mine. Each time he inched closer, I used my right foot to slowly push myself and the stool back. It seemed to be the only option to get away from him; until he forced his hands below the sides of my thighs, holding the stool in place. He released a soft chuckle as he eyed me from my eyes, down to my lips. "You're beautiful," he said. From his voice, I couldn't tell if he was being serious, or messing around. It sounded sincere, however there was a smirk on his face. The smirk that he always has on his face when he's found an amusing target. Then he averted his attentions back to my eyes. His expressions softened up the moment his eyes landed back on mine. His smirk disappeared. I cleared my throat and broke the eye contact. I looked down at my palms as I rubbed the sweat against my jeans, "What do you want, Landon?" I asked, almost whispering. I felt his hand brushing against my right cheek, as he tilts my chin up to look back at him. His messy brown hair, his light blue eyes and his pink soft lips were just centimeters from mine. I felt his breath lingering on the upper tip of my lip. In a panic, I pressed my palms against his chest and push him off. He stumbled back with a surprised look on his face. "Aubrey." _ _ _ Landon Carthy is an arrogant boy, who knowns to have absolutely no care in the world. Making girls suffer feels great to him. But what happens when a new girl in town becomes one of his victims? Will she allow him to walk upon her like all the other girls do?
