Tainted follows a young girl by the name of Ignis Umbra, a 16 year old girl who was born with a mutation in her blood. The Tainted, the group of people who were born with an assortment of abilities, are considered to be useless and unwelcome... When Ignis's brother kicks her out of the house for good, she makes her way to Greenville, to find her childhood friends, but when she arrives, not everything is going as planned and she gets dragged into the world of the Operator and his crew of serial killers. Will Ignis survive using her abilities, and make new friends and family? Or will she die trying to fit into her new home?
