The Extinction Project

During the mid 23rd century, humanity had gone through a short period in which the brightest minds made many scientific and technological improvements during a sort of global research good rush.

This period ended when militaries around the world started to invest in weapons research. Conspiracies started to reach out into the public eventually starting a global war. The research that was the main cause of the war did not cease and facilities were built in various locations in the United States and presumably within other countries.

Now approaching the 19th year of the war, a former trainee in the army was recruited by government higher ups to guard a secret underground facility in the western United States. There, he finds himself in a fight for survival against unimaginable horrors.
