Daniel James Howell was a struggling artist living on the rim of a vodka bottle. His life was not particularly exciting. Drink, paint, drink, paint, and pass out in a pool of his own sick and a halo of self-hate. He believed there was no meaning in his life until he met the beautiful stranger with the flickering smile and the eyes that cut through you as thoroughly as a diamond edged scalpel.

Really all this is is a story with two names. Imagine whoever you want, I just chose to imagine Dan and Phil.
