Chanelle and Catarina didn't expect that they would find a time capsule in their own backyard. Better yet, it would be filled with clues that would lead them to the Space Needle, to other people they don't know. Bennett and Peter didn't think their stupid stunt would get on the internet, and Cara definitely didn't expect for her to be roped into it. Marinette, Amira, and Asher DEFINITELY didn't think that a random letter that definitely wasn't meant for them would arrive on the doorstep or Marinette's abandoned home. But the one thing these all have in common? They lead to the same place. A scavenger hunt followed by something fishy that seems to almost be following them? The new acquaintances didn't expect to have things get real this fast, but maybe it was for the better... right?

A Little Bit of Bad Luck
In this AU, Félix and Marinette's characters are based on the ones from the Miraculous anime PV that was never made (extra explanation of MCs in prologue). Additionally, there is a focus of side characters such as Gabriel, Nathalie, and Chloé (all these characters are based on the canon cartoon). This story takes place in the world of the cartoon but I have added some elements of the anime and my own spin on things. It's mostly plot and romance with occasional action. This is an attempt to mix comedy with tragedy. Some content is quite heavy, like cancer, depression, sick patients...etc. So prepare a tissue, just in case. I wrote and posted the first 3 chapters 4 years ago, yet due to my stupidity and insensitivity, I lost a dear friend over this story, which I regretted deeply. The idea was first inspired by another friend, who gave me some first hand experience of a cancer patient. Can't thank her enough. It's totally my fault that this story was delayed for so long. It's simply too good to waste, and not fair for her priceless contribution. There are also various things inspired by different friends online, who once bared their souls to me.
