This story is set in the same universe as Lamia's Longing, and will henceforth be called The Merging Verse.

To become Mated is to find love, every Monster knows this. And yet what would happen should a frightened Human break the bond before it could complete?

Nathan Skipper was always a rather easy going kind of guy. But the day he met Marin Skarner would change this part of him forever.
